It’s a Fitted Flanged Type (Ovular), which features a Model LMIF flange that has been flattened on two sides. The lower core height compared to square flanges allows for more compact designs. The rows of bearings are aligned so that a load from one of the flattened sides will be supported by two rows of bearings.
